I rescued 7 puppies. This being my first full-fledged pull and rescue, went into the venture with another RESCUE, however, I was unprepared for the many details, and possible problems a rescue of 7 PUPS would entail.
These PUPS are now in the hospital with PARVO for the 2nd time around and the RESCUE and her have no funds for REIMBURSEMENT of the huge VET bill in treating something of this magnitude.
I have been advised by some to PTS the pups. But, in my heart I CANNOT do such a thing, after witnessing the beauty and innocence in their sweet faces. They deserve a chance, just as any life deserves a chance.
Myself and the RESCUE have decided to do whatever it takes to afford these PUPS that opportunity.
Please if anyone can offer funds for donation, services, ideas to get our PLEA out to the PUBLIC in hopes that we will be able to raise the FUNDS needed to SAVE THEM, please offer them now, we are open to any suggestions and offers for assistance.
*This is the VET's office of where the dogs are being hospitalized. It is estimated they will need 2-3 weeks of treatment inpatient with possibly plasma transfusions. I has already paid over $5K, from their first treatment out of pocket, and husband wanted me to put the puppies to sleep, as this will force us into bankruptcy if plasma transfusions are needed*
